Mida's high-strength PA6 technical achievements passed the appraisal, reaching the international advanced level

On June 24, the China National Textile and Apparel Council organized an appraisal meeting for the “Technical Development and Industrialization of High-Strength PA6 Fiber” undertaken by Guangdong Xinhui Meida Nylon Co., Ltd. and Donghua University in Meida. Academician Sun Jinliang and Jiang Shicheng of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Vice President Wang Yuping of China Chemical Fiber Association, and professors and experts from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, China Textile Research Institute Co., Ltd., Sichuan Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Chenghui Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. Expert group. At the appraisal meeting, the expert group listened to the report of the project undertaker, reviewed relevant materials, and inspected the production site. After discussion and research by the expert group of the Appraisal Committee, it is believed that the project has broken through the complete set of high-strength PA6 fiber industrialization technology and built a high-strength PA6 production line with an annual output of 1,500 tons. The social and economic benefits are good, and the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level. Finally, the expert group agreed to pass the appraisal of the project.

This is also another breakthrough that Meida has devoted to the research and development of new fiber materials over the years, and has become a new profit growth point for the company.

The laboratory has established four research groups for basic research on the design and processing technology of new polyamide 6 fiber functional materials, new civilian polyamide 6 fiber functional materials, military special polyamide fiber functional fibers, and standardization of new polyamide 6 fiber functional materials.
